In 1992 National Legal Aid was established with a single office situated in Tzaneen. The aim of the company was to provide financial aid to its clients in the form of a cash pay-out. In 1993 we started focusing mainly on the funeral department and decided to start undertaking our own funerals. This was the year we bought our very first hearse.

In 1994 we opened our second office in Giyani and have since expanded to many parts of Limpopo and Mpumalanga.

Many years later, in 2018, we took hands with Wisani Burial Society and formed a new partnership to expand our horizons even further. This brought us to a total of 19 offices and 33 pay points, thus enabling us to provide you with excellent service and a funeral plan for the entire family.

In 2019 we upgraded to a brand-new logo and implemented a new, modern look for the company. We started improving our offices, rebranding our vehicles, and changing the uniforms of our dedicated employees. On top of everything, we added the option to upgrade your funeral to a premium service, called the “Supreme”.

In 2020 we proudly introduced a new funeral plan called the “Achiever plan”. This plan covers a main member, spouse, 10 beneficiaries and the option to add 2 extended members.
